Collin Hall is a lighting designer and technician originally from Memphis, TN. After high school, she relocated to Knoxville, TN to earn her Bachelor of Arts in theatre at the University of Tennessee. After four years of studying with some of the most inspiring, intelligent, and professional designers and stage managers in the business at the Clarence Brown Theatre, she earned her BA in theatre with an honors design/tech concentration and an English minor and was named the 2019 Outstanding Graduate for the theatre department.

Currently, she is working as the touring technical director for the Utah Shakespeare Festival’s production of Romeo and Juliet. Once that contract ends, she plans to find as many design opportunities as possible around the country. With an endless amount of curiosity, she looks for places that encourage artistic risk, develop new works, foster young talent, and provide a welcoming environment.

Some of her goals for the farther future include earning her MFA, designing for regional theatres across the US, teaching in a university, and living in a little yellow house with sunny windows and a peaceful garden.
